The Welcome Center hours of operation are 9 am - 5 pm on Mon. - Fri.
(January thru March we are open on Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm.)  

The Englewood - Cape Haze area lies in the south end of Sarasota County and the west end of Charlotte County on the Gulf of Mexico. We have something for everyone in Englewood whether you are just visiting or planning a full time residency.

You will find four beautiful Gulf beaches to choose from along with two State Parks and miles of fishing along Lemon Bay and the Charlotte Harbor Estuary. There are many professional golf courses as well as tennis and all the water sports. We have many parks to choose from and excellent bird watching opportunities.
