The Englewood - Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce is the largest and most influential business organization in the community, representing more than 550 local businesses. Celebrating more than 60 years of service and commitment to the community, the Englewood-Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to encouraging and enriching the business community in Englewood.
The Englewood - Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce operates a full-service office in Englewood. Visitors and residents will find information about the area attractions, restaurants and accommodations and will be able to take advantage of an abundance of brochures and lists for local business and government services. Personal, one-on-one service is provided for those inquiring on almost any aspect of living, working or visiting the Englewood area.
The current Chamber Community Guide & Directory is invaluable to new residents, tourists or those in the process of relocation to the area. Information on places to go, how to establish residency, and important addresses and phone numbers of local business and agencies are provided at no cost.
Our response to the tens of thousands of inquiries is just one service provided through the support of the business membership. The most requested publication is the Chamber's Englewood Area Street Map. It is one of the most comprehensive and accurate maps available of the Englewood area.
The majority of the work of the Chamber is done by volunteer leadership focused on such issues as government relations, business and tourist development, economic development, better business and membership development. Under the guidance of a well diversified board of directors who represent the top business and civic leaders of the community, the Chamber's leadership works diligently to create changes that help shape and mold the very quality of life and work in the community.
During its long history of community involvement, the Chamber has always played a lead role in building community spirit. Monthly luncheon meetings allow the networking of business leaders and the sharing of current business issues. Business card exchanges help to introduce new business owners and members of the Chamber.
The Englewood - Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce responds to more than 20,000 information requests each year. By providing invaluable assistance to visitors, tourists, residents and members, the organization's ultimate goal is to bring the customer together with the local business community.
